Every research project starts with a question with the goal of finding the right people to help answer it.

We carefully recruit participants who represent the people a study is designed to understand. That might mean parents, employees, students, teachers, business owners, consumers, voters, or people with a particular experience or perspective.

We believe better research starts with hearing from people in their own words. Our goal is to create opportunities for honest, thoughtful participation and make sure every perspective is heard and represented clearly.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A simple process, every step of the way

Screening & Verification

First, we want to make sure a study is a good fit for you. You'll complete a short screening questionnaire with questions about your experiences, background, and demographics.

If you qualify, we'll provide the essential information you need to decide whether you'd like to participate.

Getting Ready

For online studies: You may be asked to complete a brief technology check to make sure your equipment is working and your responses can be recorded properly. We'll also review any materials you need to complete or sign before the study.

For in-person studies: You may receive a brief online re-screener to confirm that the information collected during your initial screening is still accurate.

As your study gets closer, we'll send you an email with everything you need to know—including your study link or location, timing, parking information, and any other important instructions.

During the Study

Every study is different, but you'll typically begin with an introduction and an explanation of what you'll be asked to do.

You might be asked to react to a brand concept, discuss an experience, review materials, or even take on the role of a juror in a trial setting.

You don't need to be an expert. You don't need to prepare.

We want your honest, top-of-mind reaction. Our job is to create an environment where you can share what you really think—and help us understand why.

A little early goes a long way

We ask participants to arrive at least 15 minutes early. When applicable, we may offer an additional incentive for arriving early and being ready to begin on time.

For online studies, we recommend having a pen and paper nearby. For in-person studies, we'll provide everything you need.

Your time matters

We know your time is valuable. That's why every study includes an incentive for your participation.

For online studies, you'll select your preferred digital payment method or request a check during the screening process. Once your study is complete, we'll begin processing your payment. Processing times may vary depending on the payment platform, but our goal is to get your incentive to you as quickly as possible.

For in-person studies, incentives are typically provided at the conclusion of the study.

We’re here to help

We work with trusted sources to identify people who may be a good fit for research studies. Depending on the study, this may include research panels, referrals, publicly available information, or purchased sample.
If we contact you about a study, it means we believe you may meet some of the criteria the research team is looking for.
Absolutely! We’re always looking for people with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
In some studies, people who know each other may not be eligible to participate in the same study or group. If that’s the case, we’ll keep you on our list and reach out about future studies that may be a better fit.
Research studies have very specific requirements, and the people we need can vary significantly from one study to the next. You may not hear from us for a while simply because we haven't had a study that matches your profile.
That doesn't mean you've been removed from our panel. When a study comes along that looks like a good fit, we'll reach out.

It depends on the study. Each research project has its own requirements, and some studies may have restrictions on how recently you participated in other research.
We may also limit participation in studies that are similar to one you've recently completed. Our goal is to make sure each study includes the right mix of people and perspectives.

We conduct research—not sales calls. When you participate in one of our studies, we're looking for your honest opinions, experiences, and reactions. You won't be asked to buy anything, and you don't need to have any particular expertise.
You may be asked to discuss an experience, react to an idea or product, review materials, or participate in a simulated scenario. There are no right or wrong answers. We genuinely want to know what you think.
And if a study isn't a good fit for you, that's okay too. Participation is always voluntary.
