What is Qualitative Research?
Qualitative research helps organizations understand the people behind the data. Instead of collecting numbers through large surveys, qualitative research focuses on conversations, experiences, opinions, and behaviors.
Researchers may conduct one-on-one interviews, focus groups, or online discussions to learn how people think, make decisions, and interact with products, services, or ideas.
There are no right or wrong answers. Researchers are interested in your honest perspective and real-life experiences. Your feedback helps organizations make more informed decisions and create better products, services, and experiences.
-
Protecting your privacy is one of our highest priorities. We collect only the information necessary to determine study eligibility and coordinate participation. Your information is stored using secure systems and is never sold to third parties. Any personal information shared with research sponsors is handled according to applicable privacy requirements and only for purposes related to the research study. When possible, findings are reported in aggregate and not linked to individual participants.
-
Payment timelines vary by study, but compensation is typically sent within 7–14 business days after your participation is completed and verified. Before joining a study, we'll always let you know the incentive amount, payment method, and expected payment timeline.
-
Yes! Many participants qualify for and participate in multiple studies over time. Each study has its own eligibility requirements, so qualifying for one study does not guarantee qualification for another. We encourage you to join our participant database so we can contact you when future opportunities match your background and experiences.
-
Research studies are typically funded by organizations seeking to better understand the people they serve. Depending on the project, this may include businesses, healthcare organizations, law firms, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, or academic institutions. In many cases, the sponsoring organization prefers to remain confidential to ensure unbiased feedback.
-
To maintain the integrity of the research, we sometimes limit the amount of information shared before participation. Providing too much detail can unintentionally influence responses and affect the quality of the results. We will always provide enough information for you to make an informed decision about participating, including the time commitment, compensation, and general topic area when appropriate.
-
Sometimes. Eligibility requirements vary by study, and in some cases household members may be restricted from participating in the same project. If you know someone who may be interested, feel free to refer them to us.
-
